Isopogon formosus, also known as the Rose Coneflower, is a shrub native to Western Australia. It has divided leaves, rosy pink flowers, and globular fruit.
Appearance
Erect or spreading shrub that can grow to 1.5–2 m tall
Young growth is silky and sometimes reddish
Adult leaves are green to reddish-green, with sharply pointed segments
Flowers are rose-pink to pale pink, and bloom in winter and spring
Fruit is a hairy nut fused with others in a spherical or oval head
Habitat
Grows in heath land and dry sclerophyll woodlands
Prefers full sun to partial shade
Grows in well-drained sandy or gravelly soil
Can tolerate light frost

Requires gentle pruning to keep tidy and promote vigor
Requires tip pruning for best results
