A$9.00

Grevillea 'Flora Mason' is a hardy, fast-growing Australian native hybrid (\(G. pinaster \times G. olivacea\)) prized for its apricot, yellow, and soft pink "spider" flowers that bloom from autumn through spring. It typically grows as a dense, evergreen shrub reaching 1.8 to 3 metres in height and width, making it an excellent choice for screening, hedging, or as a bird-attracting feature plant.

🌿 Key Features

  • Appearance: Fine, needle-like silvery-green foliage with rounded flower clusters.

  • Wildlife: Highly attractive to honeyeaters, bees, and butterflies.

  • Hardiness: Exceptionally tough; it is drought tolerant and frost hardy

  • Soil Flexibility: Unlike many Grevilleas, it can tolerate alkaline and clay soils, though it still prefers good drainage.

🛠️ Care & Maintenance

  • Position: Thrives in full sun but will tolerate part shade (though flowering may decrease).

  • Pruning: Best pruned lightly after flowering (late spring) to maintain a dense, bushy habit.

  • Fertiliser: Use a low-phosphorus native fertiliser (P ratio under 3%) only if necessary, as they are sensitive to phosphorus.
