Correa Dusky Bells is a small, compact, evergreen shrub with glossy leaves and bell-shaped flowers It is a popular, easy-to-grow native Australian plant. 

Appearance

  • Leaves: Oval-shaped, glossy, dark green, and have a citrus scent when crushed 

  • Flowers: Tubular, bell-shaped, pale carmine pink, and appear from March to September 

Growing conditions 

  • Prefers well-drained, fertile loam

  • Tolerates a wide range of soil pH levels and nutrient poor soil

  • Tolerates moderate to heavy frosts

  • Grows well in part shade, but prefers full sun

  • Drought tolerant and suited to seaside plantings

Uses
